The Village has been notified of a scheduled power outage affecting the Village of Kent City on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 11:00 p.m. to approximately 3:00 a.m.

Sewer Rate Increase
We have made the tough decision to raise our sewer usage rates for the first time in over 20 years. Starting with the June bill, sewer rates will go from $29.00 per REU to $35.00 per REU per month. This will result in a normal residential household increase from $87.00 per quarter to $105.00 per quarter. The increase is necessary to maintain and/or repair the infrastructure of our sanitary sewer system.
